HEAD OF WEB DESIGN
Remote | Volunteer; London Timezone (GMT+1)
6 hours/week minimum
The Head of Web Design will ideate and manage large-scale web development projects using their extensive web development knowledge. These projects will increase the quality of our GRW training to better support our volunteers. You may also support the 'Project manager and in-house tech expert' in queries from our volunteers, whatever stage of training they’re in.

Be up to date on the latest web design trends and technologies, evaluating how these could be incorporated into our processes.Large-scale web development projects
Conceptualises web development projects that will better GRW’s offering to volunteers. Drives these forward sticking to deadlines.Volunteer support
Looking into web development issues that the volunteers have both during training and in live projects.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Extensive experience in web design and development, both in WebFlow and code languages.
Technical understanding of hosting and domains.
Ability to craft simple explanations of complex web concepts.
Creative approach to problem-solving.

This role may range from a few hours a week to a couple of hours a day depending on workload but is very compatible with other commitments such as full time employment, part-time employment and university studies.
